Current Opportunities

Construction Project Bookkeeper

This position performs all functions related to accounts payable, construction progress billing, and cost control etc.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide support for all accounting and treasury functions
  • Review all subcontractors's invoices for accuracy and completeness
  • Work closely with team members to prepare and submit applicant payment
  • Handle inquiries from vendors and staff
  • Input all invoices related to project from vendors
  • Track and maintain vendor, expense, and project information files
  • Compile multiple spreadsheets of all job-related costs by cost types
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in residential or commercial construction
  • Accounting Diploma/Certificate/Degree
  • Skilled in word, excel, QuickBooks and sage 50 and other accounting software
  • Experience in the construction industry is a plus
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills
  • Efficiency, reliability, and accuracy with numbers

Project Administrator

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Monitor and support to Project Team
  • Assist the Operations with job set up, tracking, analysis, reporting and closing requirements
  • Ensure accurate and timely data collection as it relates to project budget and estimates
  • Assist with the development of operating procedures, forms and systems
  • Organization and management of meetings, site access etc.
  • Manage filing, storage and security of business-related documents.
  • Provide other office support as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of project co-ordination and/or administration experience
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree required
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong MS Office experience will be essential
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, meticulous, flexible and detail oriented.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
